The program can be installed on various OS platforms, which can be used in an offline mode when internet service is not available. When connected to a network, the database will update with information entered on the end client. THIRRA is written in PHP and makes heavy use of the CodeIgnitor platform as well as PostgreSQL for database functions. The interface for the web console relies on jQuery so that the service may be used in conjunction with most OS platforms and with a varieny of web browsers.
